Our Story
In the depths of the winter 2020/21 Covid lockdown, a group of friends started meeting on Zoom, and sharing ideas for a new type of community focused bike shop in Totnes. We opened in September 2021, and have been increasing our range of services and community events ever since.
We want to increase participation in cycling. The bike hub is set-up as a Community Interest Company (CIC). Any surplus made by the shop is re-invested in community activities to ensure we reach as wide a range of people as possible.
We rely on a whole range of volunteers to help run the shop, complete community work and lead bike rides.
